Police arrested Connecticut state Rep. Christina “Tita” Ayala (D-Bridgeport) Friday on 19 voting fraud charges. The Chief State’s Attorney’s Office said in a press release that Ayala allegedly voted in local and state elections in districts where she does not reside.
Ayala also allegedly fabricated evidence to investigators with the state Election Enforcement Commission, providing an inaccurate address to justify her voting in a district where she doesn’t actually live, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.

President Barack Obama’s intelligence briefings have provided him with specific information since before he won re-election in 2012 about the growing threat of the terror group now known alternatively as ISIS and ISIL, an administration insider told MailOnline on Monday.
‘Unless someone very senior has been shredding the president’s daily briefings and telling him that the dog ate them, highly accurate predictions about ISIL have been showing up in the Oval Office since before the 2012 election,’ said a national security staffer in the Obama administration who is familiar with the content of intelligence briefings.

When I first heard that the house of representatives today, approved Obama’s plan to arm the Syrian rebels to fight ISIS, I was taken back and could not understand why they would do such a thing. Then it hit me that I was dealing with political Cowarts. It is obvious to anybody with brains that this strategy will not work. On the other hand if the house refused to fund Obama is disastrous plan,Then then the failure of Obama would be blamed on the Republicans.
In short the Republicans took the easy cowardly way out. They now believe that they will have no responsibility for the outcome on the fight it’s about to occur in Syria. When will the Republicans learn just to do the right thing and allow the consequences of fall where they may.

U.S. Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson (D-Dallas) argued the beheading of two American journalists by ISIS does not justify U.S. airstrikes into Syria Thursday.
During an interview on Capitol Hill, Johnson said the slayings of James Foley and Steven Sotloff should not lead to bombing ISIS forces in Syria.
“We were on their ground. It was not in the U.S. I do think we need to protect Americans wherever they are. But Americans also need to be careful where they are,” said Johnson.
The Dallas Democrat also said President Obama does not need Congressional authority to escalate the fight against ISIS. But she feels he would be wise to seek approval from the U.S. House and Senate.

Now, the 36-year-old mother of three young children in Valencia, Calif., is among the majority of Americans who have lost confidence in Obama’s leadership and the job he is doing as president.
“He’s been faced with a lot of challenges, and he’s lost his way,” Cole said in an interview. She worries that Obama lacks the resolve needed at a time when things at home and abroad are looking scarier.
